My love of photography started from pulling shoe boxes of photos out of my parents closest. Spreading them out on the bed. Sifting through print after print. Photos from before I was born of people I’ve never met or family members at ages I’ve never known. Yet it was documented so in some small way I was able to be there.
The artfrom lies in the honesty.
This is how I create your images. Being immersed in your day. With your people. Anticipating moments, and being there to help create them. Creating an environment where you feel comfortable showing up.
Approach
I am here to create art from your life. From the raw authentic moments. guided by emotion and balanced with a creative eye. witnessing rather than imposing.
Documenting is not just a way to eternalize a moment but a way to be more fully present. This is my goal for you. To be able to fully experience the present by nature of it being documented. It’s so easy to get caught up in the now without actually experiencing.
That goes beyond being there with a camera but to understand the needs of any given situation. This is my superpower. Offer guidance, quietly wait for a moment, or offer playful banter all to facilitate an environment where you and your loved ones feel comfortable being them.
